Hey Debra,Ha you totally nalied it; what a great post. Isn’t this how we met too Yes, it’s hard to put a $ sign on how much exactly you make each year with social media. I usually give examples in my workshops of how social media and connecting with others on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. has worked for me. Quick example: Because of a tweet I sent out about a conference I was starting to organize, a person from Twitter tweeted back to me and asked if they could present at the conference. Because of having Twitter present at the conference, registrations went through the roof and we also attracted LinkedIn and other high profile Silicon Valley tech companies to be part of the company. We ended up with nearly 50% more registration than we expected. You know how we sometimes need a liltte nudge to see in ourselves what has been a liltte dormant, perhaps because the other things of life muddy the view sometimes? Debra, you have been that nudge, catalyst, SPARK that I’ve needed. Looking at the comments above, it seems you have played that role in a few women’s lives. Sartorially, I can get a liltte stuck, and especially when age makes me second guess (“Does this eye makeup [hat, dress, etc.] look awful in my late 50s? I can’t even tell anymore…”).
